Designated Safeguarding & Pastoral Lead
to manage safeguarding and pastoral care across our services, ensuring the safety and well-being of students and residents. Key Responsibilities:
Oversee safeguarding processes, manage referrals, and ensure compliance with statutory guidelines. Implement and coordinate the Attendance Policy. Provide safeguarding and behaviour training to staff. Ensure compliance reports and audits are completed in collaboration with the School Business Manager. Communicate with parents, carers, and external agencies on student progress and intervention effectiveness. Advise on the development of behaviour, pastoral care, and wellbeing programs. Review and implement safeguarding policies and practices. Qualifications & Experience:
GCSEs in English & Maths (or equivalent). DSL Level 3 or above, with experience in a similar role. Experience in a residential setting, such as a Children's Home or Adult Care Home. Strong communication skills, conflict resolution, and experience with ASD support strategies. Experience with OFSTED & CQC inspections. Benefits:
