You'll work alongside industry experts to drive product strategy, manage programs, analyse performance, and lead transformation initiatives. WHAT TO EXPECT JLR seeks a visionary Thermal Systems Innovation Lead to revolutionise Electric Drive Unit (EDU) thermal management for our next-generation Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs). This pivotal role will unite advanced thermal engineering, digital twin validation, and software calibration, driving positive impact through sustainable innovation. The ideal innovator will also bring expertise in hydraulic functions, transmission cooling, and lubrication systems, ensuring a comprehensive approach to EDU thermal management. Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities Lead EDU software calibration and validation for cooling, lubrication, and thermal management, fostering system unity. Champion the verification and validation of EDU digital twin models, ensuring integrity in real-world thermal behaviour representation. Innovate, implement, and validate DTCs and service routines, enhancing customer love through reliable thermal management. Design integrated EDU thermal systems that excel in diverse conditions, delighting customers. Optimize thermal management software interaction, showcasing technical integrity. WHAT YOU'LL NEED Depth of knowledge associated with E-machine, Inverters, EDU systems, and transmission thermal management. Expertise in cooling, lubrication, and hydraulic systems, demonstrating technical integrity. Proficiency in digital twin modelling and thermal simulation tools. A clear grasp of hydraulic functions, vehicle articulation, and gradability requirements. Creating Modern Luxury requires a modern approach to work.
