The role of a Project Support Officer is key to the success of our Trust’s implementation of a Medical rostering solution. The Project Support Officer will support the Senior Project Manager and Operational Support Manager in delivering the Medical rostering implementation project to tight deadlines while maintaining quality and managing risk. The successful candidate will play a key role in the successful delivery of Medical Rostering at Gloucester Hospital Trust providing support for the implementation and rollout of Medical Rostering across Gloucester Hospitals Trust medical workforce across both acute hospitals (Gloucester Royal and Cheltenham General). You will have a very strong background supporting digital projects within healthcare and have a good understanding of IT and clinical applications. You will be a meticulous planner, and have high-level communication and engagement skills with the ability to deliver training to clinicians, administrators, and managers on the use of the new medical e-rostering platform. Additional contract details: Fixed term until February 2027. Main duties of the job

Support the Senior Project Manager and Operational Support Manager to achieve the project's objectives, benefits, and KPIs. Support the Medical Rostering Team to develop, implement, and streamline high-quality service delivery. Support the Medical Rostering Team in systems development and integration. Continuous Stakeholder engagement across all clinical and corporate divisions. Maintain detailed and high-level project plans. Manage project risks within tolerance and escalate to Project Manager where appropriate. Schedule meetings, creating relevant agendas and associated documentation. Maintain and update project records and reports. Deliver three levels of training on the Medical e-Rostering Platform: User, Administrative, Managers. Working for our organisation

Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience

Qualification and/or experience equivalent to Degree Level. Experience supporting projects. Ability to communicate effectively. Medical Rostering experience. Advanced ICT Skills.
