Role Responsibilities: Efficient operations of all IT services, providing third line support. Leading in key IT focus areas: End User Compute, Security, Networks, Servers, and Storage. Providing third-level support in at least two areas of IT. Understanding IT solutions available within the marketplace. Communicating at all levels with an excellent customer-facing manner. Designing and configuring systems for capacity, performance, availability, and security. Key Skills: Regular travel to other sites within the business and occasional travel to suppliers. Educated to degree level within an IT-related discipline. Microsoft Windows 7. MCSE certification. 3rd Line Windows Desktop & Server Support. Experience with Windows Server 2003, 2008, and 2012. Active Directory. Network Troubleshooting. Routers & Switches. WM Ware. LAN/WAN. Telephony.
