Prospero Teaching is looking for a Food Technology Teacher to work in a large, oversubscribed school in Wigan to start as soon as possible. The role is short term, and it is essential that you are a Qualified Teacher qualified to teach food technology to key stage 3 & 4 pupils.
CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS
Location – Lowton
Full time
Minimum rate of pay – £150 per day
Hours – 8:20 am – 4:00 pm
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
QTS, QTLS, PGCE, GTP, SCITT or equivalent
Previous experience teaching in a UK school
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential; we can provide training)
Up to date Prevent Awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential; we can provide training)
Recent Food Technology UK teaching experience preferred
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide a minimum of two professional child-related references
Please note that if you are NOT a passport holder of the country for the vacancy, you might need a work permit.
