We’re seeking a
Lead Body Development Engineer
to join our rapidly growing team. Reporting to our
Development Manager , you
will be responsible for leading the development of vehicle robustness across multiple programs, with a focus on Body, Structures, and Functional testing. This includes, but is not limited to, Structures, Closures, Interiors, Lighting, and Usability development testing. This role will work closely with Function, Attribute & Simulation teams to ensure the most efficient development plan is in place and assist in test activities. This pivotal role will operate in a hybrid capacity from our offices near Leamington Spa. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside some of the most visionary minds in the automotive field. Understand how Attribute & System tests fit within the overall attribute validation process Lead workstreams within a multi-disciplined cross-functional attribute/system team Define appropriate test assets: Vehicle, Buck, or Rig Act as a Technical Lead within a team of Development Engineers at various levels Ensure robust Engineering DVP & Asset timing plan is in place for all development-related testing Support test facility utilization and bookings to ensure efficient testing Who you are
Broad experience in Vehicle Development/Testing Degree in Engineering or similar Experience using data acquisition and instrumentation systems Experience leading a team About Us
