Technical Staffing Resources (TSR) are the in-house agency and master vendor for KBR, a leading global engineering, construction, and services company.
KBR supports the hydrocarbon and government services markets on six continents. Serving their customers through diverse business units, KBR offers challenging assignments on some of the world's largest and most complex projects.
We are looking for Structural Designers (x5) on 6 month contracts based in Leatherhead.
On Offer: - Competitive hourly pay rate - Hybrid Working - 3 days in the office, 2 days from home - IR35 Determination - Highly likely to be outside so engagement through a LLC is permitted.
Role Overview: As a Senior Designer, you will support the lead designer, liaise with other disciplines, clients, and vendors, and coordinate with project team members across global offices to deliver tasks within allotted timelines and budgets.
Skills / Experience:
Minimum experience of 10 years Proficient in the use of E3D and able to provide advice/guidance to junior designers Ability to manage a team of designers located overseas Creation of project-specific job notes, guides, and training material to support consistent deliverables Organizing schedules and resources within the team to achieve required deliverables to project deadlines Breaking project tasks down to drawing level and estimating resources required to complete milestones Competence in the use of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Ability to work efficiently and effectively in identifying priorities and be agile in addressing emerging urgent issues Ability to work both independently and in a multi-disciplinary team environment
