ASAP We are seeking a

Management Accounting Improvements Lead

to support process improvements within a finance division. This temporary role focuses on driving significant changes in management accounting, streamlining workflows, and enhancing financial reporting accuracy within a respected organisation. Key Responsibilities: Lead improvements in cost management, cash flow management, variance analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. Simplify processes to enhance the provision of accurate financial data for decision-making. Collaborate with senior stakeholders to identify and implement efficiencies. Provide training and support to embed new processes across the finance team. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and audit requirements. Promote collaboration across finance teams to improve service delivery. Key Requirements: Fully qualified accountant with significant post-qualification experience in management accounting. Proven leadership experience with a focus on continuous improvement and service delivery. Advanced IT skills, including strong proficiency in Excel and accounting software. Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders. Preferred Experience: Knowledge of the higher education funding environment and/or experience in HE institutions. Familiarity with Oracle Financials or similar systems.
