Our client, a leading £200m turnover group, is seeking a talented Qualified Management Accountant. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and ambitious individual to take on a pivotal role within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Reporting into the Group Finance Manager, this role will best suit a hands-on person who is hungry for a new challenge. You will be well supported in the role whilst being part of a fast-moving, growth-driven business.

The role of the Management Accountant will offer a broad range of experience, exposure, and responsibility, whilst requiring someone to get into the detail to ensure accuracy.

Responsibilities will include: Monthly Management Accounts preparation and presentation Prepare and review financial statements for c. 3 entities The usual monthly journals for accruals & prepayments etc. Full balance sheet reconciliations with supporting documentation Intercompany reconciliations Variance analysis, including commentary Working closely with relevant business areas on Budget setting and forecasting Partner with key stakeholders to provide insightful financials Participate in statutory external audits Engagement in transforming month-end and other financial reporting processes Key Requirements: A Fully Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA), ideally from a practice background although not a prerequisite Keen understanding of month-end processes and accounting policies Experience in process review Effective management of networks and stakeholders, clearly and concisely interfacing with all levels of management Hardworking and self-motivated Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with a keen analytical mindset Experience with Sage and/or NetSuite would be preferable Package will include: Up to £55,000 Hybrid working 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays Life Assurance 3x Salary Group Pension Plan Season Ticket Loans This is an exciting opportunity to join a top-performing company offering career growth, competitive remuneration, and a supportive working environment.
