We’re looking for innovative and dynamic individuals with a working knowledge of schools' financial management systems, for example, SIMS FMS, ACCESS, etc., with a clear understanding of school financial management processes. Candidates should have enthusiasm and passion to enable schools to understand their budgets, meet statutory requirements, and provide the highest level of customer satisfaction.
The School Financial Advisor vacancy is for 4 members of staff, and we are offering flexible working hours, either full-time, part-time, or term time. The successful candidates must have a 'can do' attitude, the ability to work independently while supporting various school-based staff, and be an integrated member of the School Financial Advisor Team.
The role will be temporary in the first instance.
Candidates must have an Enhanced DBS.
Candidates must have experience within finance, and if they possess an accountancy qualification, that would be considered an advantage. They should be good communicators, able to work as a team, and proficient with figures.
The candidate will be required to visit schools, and expenses can be claimed from the office base to the location. The role will require a full clean driving license and access to a car for onsite visits.
Systems used include SIMS (FMS), Access, and Excel, but training will be provided.
Working hours are flexible, especially around school terms. Candidates will need to spend a couple of weeks in the office to complete induction and training before the manager can consider hybrid working.
