I am currently recruiting for a Financial Controls Auditor on behalf of a well-established retail business located in the Greater Belfast area. This market-leading organisation is renowned for its excellent company culture, which places a strong emphasis on the well-being and development of its staff.

Your new role

As part of the existing team, you will be responsible for a variety of duties, including: Supporting audits in accordance with the agreed audit plan. Assisting in the development and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and controls across the business to ensure effective risk management. Continuously reviewing and updating SOPs and controls to align with changes in business processes. Aiding the Internal Control Manager in preparing and presenting reports for periodic management and board meetings, as well as reporting to the Group. Monitoring cash balances (including floats, ATM balances, and post office cash) to ensure compliance with agreed limits and insurance thresholds. What you'll need to succeed

You should have at least one year of experience in internal control, audit, or risk management. Additionally, you should possess a proven ability to work independently and take initiative. Exceptional interpersonal skills, a strong capability to manage multiple demands and prioritise effectively, and excellent written and verbal communication skills are also required. Candidates must have a full driving licence to fulfil the duties of this role.
