Independent Reviewing Officer – Children and Families – Stoke on Trent – £33.30ph An Independent Reviewing Officer is required to join Stoke on Trent’s Children and Families service. This is a great opportunity to be part of a close-knit team. Benefits: Competitive rate of pay Hybrid working Good transport links Access to training materials Long term contracts available As an Independent Reviewing Officer for the Children and Families Service you will be: Acting for the children you review as a conscientious and responsible corporate parent would act Monitoring the performance of the service on an ongoing basis in relation to their response to children in care and ensuring any issues are escalated appropriately Quality assuring every plan following each review meeting and considering that all appropriate options have been considered to meet the child’s identified needs Focusing on children’s needs being met while being aware of resource/cost implications Responsible for convening, chairing, and producing the decisions and minutes of the review meeting within prescribed timescales while ensuring quality standards are met.
