The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will play a critical role in scaling our operations and driving strategic execution. As a key member of the leadership team, the COO will oversee daily operations, improve processes, and work closely with the CEO to translate vision into action. You will focus on operational efficiency, team development, and creating a structure for sustainable growth. Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
Design and implement business operations that support the company’s goals and vision. Establish scalable systems, processes, and best practices for operational excellence. Monitor company performance and initiate corrective actions when necessary. Strategic Execution
Collaborate with the CEO and leadership team on setting and executing short- and long-term goals. Lead operational strategy and align it with the company’s overall mission. Analyze data to identify operational risks and opportunities for improvement. Team Management
Oversee day-to-day operations, including engineering, product development, customer success, and HR functions. Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and high performance. Attract, develop, and retain top talent. Financial Oversight
Partner with the CFO or manage financial planning (if applicable) to maintain profitability and manage expenses. Contribute to budget planning and resource allocation. Technology Enablement
Ensure that technology infrastructure supports the growth goals of the business. Collaborate with the CTO to optimize tech implementation in operations and products. Stakeholder Collaboration
Represent the company to key stakeholders, investors, and partners. Work with the CEO to prepare reports, presentations, and updates for board meetings. Qualifications
Experience
8+ years of experience in operations leadership, preferably within the tech or start-up industry. Proven track record in scaling operations, leading teams, and driving organizational growth. Experience working in a dynamic, high-growth start-up environment is a plus. Experience with regulatory compliance, particularly in industries such as fintech, SaaS, Identity Verification, Digital Identity, or other technology sectors. B2B SaaS experience is a
must . Previous experience working with C-level executives and reporting to a board of directors. Proven ability to manage diverse teams across multiple regions or time zones. Skills & Competencies
Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking capabilities. Exceptional leadership and interpersonal communication skills. Highly analytical with a metrics-driven mindset. Understanding of financial management and business principles. Familiarity with operational tech tools, CRM software, and data visualization platforms.
