Join our dedicated team at a highly regarded SEMH school in Runcorn, where you will play a crucial role in supporting students with social, emotional, and mental health needs. This is an incredible opportunity to apply your psychological knowledge and skills in a practical, hands-on environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide one-on-one and group support to students, helping them to manage their emotions and behaviour. Assist in the development and implementation of individualised education plans (IEPs). Work closely with teachers and other support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. Monitor and report on student progress, helping to adapt strategies to meet their needs. Foster strong, supportive relationships with students to encourage their academic and personal development. Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential. To be considered for this position you will: Have previous school experience and be familiar with the SIMS system. Be a committed professional. Be an organised, enthusiastic proactive person. Hold a child workforce enhanced DBS certificate which is on the update service, or be willing to apply for a new one (costs refunded back to you when you complete 20 days work). Have satisfactory references. Have a CV that covers the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any gaps in employment must be explained. Have the legal right to work in the UK.
