Role Overview: Create and maintain a culture of excellent customer care. Conduct research to understand current and future market trends, adjusting plans accordingly. Develop and execute sales plans for advertising, merchandising, and promotions in collaboration with Directors, the General Manager, Marketing Department, and Manufacturers. Ensure efficient operation of administrative processes and adhere to company policies and procedures. Understand and comply with company standing orders and employment conditions. Maintain security of the building and department inventory. Purchase used vehicles within stock limits, coordinating with the General Manager. Maintain high standards for inventory through regular inspections and record-keeping. Conduct regular team briefings and keep written records. Oversee colleague engagement, teamwork, rotas, appraisals, training, and health & safety. Manage headcount within budget constraints, consulting with the General Manager. Approve sales order invoices and ensure adherence to invoicing procedures. Seek approval from Directors before entering into legal contracts. Ensure vehicles are presented for sale only after completing safety and cosmetic checks, with accurate pricing and specification details. Maintain a robust system for prospecting and follow-up. Ensure you/your team comply with all health and safety policies/practices, maintaining a safe and hazard free working environment at all times. Summary
