Job overview The Bank plays a vital role in supporting ongoing service provision in the event of absence, vacancies or unpredictable increases in workload. Main duties of the job Bank Staff Nurse If you’re tempted to try community nursing, this is the perfect opportunity to give it a go…you’ll love it. We are looking to recruit Registered Nurses to our Community Nurse Bank to support Community Nursing Teams across the Wirral. Experience is desirable but not essential. You should be motivated and able to deliver high quality evidence-based skilled nursing care within the community setting to meet the needs of the housebound patient. Good communication skills and the ability to work autonomously, as well as collaboratively with our integrated rapid response teams, Community Matrons, and social services colleagues, are essential to ensure seamless care to outpatients. In addition to a structured mandatory training package, Wirral Community NHS Foundation Trust will provide a comprehensive induction strategy and local orientation to the service. There is excellent in-house training allowing each individual the opportunity for further learning and development. Access to a car for work purposes is essential as is a full driving licence.
