Passiv, who are part of the BUUK Infrastructure Group, are looking for a
DevOps Engineer
who would like to help us reach our mission to “earn customer loyalty and drive business growth by providing consistently excellent service”. Passiv use an agile development approach and have a great focus on test motivated development. You will be helping with the delivery of a scalable, AWS hosted domestic energy technology management platform. As the DevOps Engineer your key responsibilities are:
Provide secure, stable and scalable production, staging and test environments Support the development teams with isolated cloud environments Set up the cloud based build pipeline for source code management, build, deploy and release Collaborate with development teams on the ongoing transition to cloud infrastructure Technically oversee the release process, ensuring zero downtime Monitor and optimize system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to improve reliability, availability and reduce costs About you
Extensive experience of AWS, Terraform and Python Experience migrating on premise workloads to the cloud Knowledgeable in CI/CD processes and tools, especially GitHub and Jenkins Knowledge of Serverless development, relational databases Beneficial if you also have experience in monitoring and optimising system performance Ability to articulate own ideas and initiatives Confident in decision making and building relationships Excellent communication skills at all levels Self-motivated and problem solver What can you expect from us
