Contract Senior Developer - C++/C# - Pricing - FX and Commodities
Department Overview: As part of Global Markets Risk and PnL Technology, this pricing team is responsible for the integration of Quant Analytics into a suite of UI tools as well as grid-based pricing services for the FX Options Desk, externally to e-Com portals and Multi-dealer platforms.
Key Responsibilities: Working as a senior developer in the Soho Pricing team, you will work on migrating the pricing tools to new web-based technology while supporting existing tools. The client follows Agile methodologies and uses C#, a mix of WCF and Asp.Net web services, Oracle with new interfaces being built in React. We face directly with Sales, Trading, Trading Assistants, and e-COM Business Managers, therefore excellent communication and analytical skills are essential.
Skills & Experience Required: Competencies: Deep understanding of Object Oriented Programming, SOA, patterns, and principles Deep understanding of .NET/.NET Core C#, with a good knowledge of its ecosystem Deep understanding of server-side technologies including ASP Core.NET, Kafka Proficiency with C++ Ability to write efficient algorithms Ability to work independently Strong communication and analytical skills Attention to detail is essential especially when under pressure and time constraints Proactive, disciplined, and flexible approach to dealing with challenges Highly motivated to work directly for a front-office IT team
Desirable: Experience with pricing and risk systems in any asset class
