THE ROLE
We have a vacancy for an experienced Data and Cyber Lawyer 3 - 6 PQE to join a leading international law firm. The post-holder will be expected to advise on EU and UK digital regulation relating to data, privacy, and AI. The work will be mainly non-contentious, with a focus on advisory work, contracts, and strategic advice to a broad-ranging international client base seeking to comply with data protection, privacy, AI, and cyber requirements. The work will require an understanding of the EU and UK regulatory landscapes and a knowledge of other privacy laws. This is a business-facing role, and you will be a main point of contact when liaising with international counsel. THE CANDIDATE
This is a role for a UK qualified solicitor with 4-6 years of PQE in data protection or cybersecurity law gained from a leading law firm or similar. Applicants from a commercial tech background with experience in GDPR and data regulation would also be of interest. You will have a solid understanding of national and international data protection legislation with experience advising on complex cross-border data transfer issues.
