Workshop Controller (Semi Productive) Vacancy
- Bury St Edmunds Salary: up to £36,000 basic OTE 40k+ Hours: Mon-Fri 8:00am to 5.30pm, 1 in 3/4 Saturdays Ref: 26583
This is an exciting challenge for an experienced Workshop Controller / Vehicle Technician who can confidently demonstrate their suitability for the role. You will possess excellent man management skills, be driven and focused. Your main objective as Workshop Controller will be to supervise the Technicians and Administration staff accordingly in a very busy workshop whilst being productive on the tools.
As a Workshop Controller, you will be tasked with supervising a team of Technicians to ensure the work is done to a high standard while at a reasonable rate. It will be your job to ensure the vehicles go through the workshop in a seamless manner whilst liaising with the Service Advisors who can then keep the customers fully up to date.
This is a vital role to ensure the Technicians keep on their toes, prioritising work and ensuring that all the work is completed to manufacturer standards. The role will be busy, so we need someone who isn't scared of working closely with the team and building a strong process.

Experience:
Must hold a full UK driving licence Looking for strong man management skills - someone who can work closely with the team rather than a 'shouter'
