Degree level qualification or equivalent experience Educated to A-level standard or equivalent Evidence of continuing professional development Desirable Criteria

Clinical Audit qualification Clinical Health Professional Registration Experience/Knowledge

Essential Criteria

Ability to analyse, interpret & present often complex data clearly using basic statistics Understanding of the Clinical Audit methodology Good understanding of current government and NHS strategy and policy in respect of clinical governance, audit and effectiveness Knowledge of the QI process Project Management including design, planning, facilitation and delivery Experience in design and data entry using sometimes complex databases Ability to analyse, interpret and present often complex data clearly using basic statistics Experience writing reports and proofreading Knowledge and experience in identifying, monitoring and resolving data quality issues Experience of using SMART processes Experience of working with clinicians and managers at a high level Knowledge of NICE guidance Desirable Criteria

Experience of clinical audit, research, quality assurance or information management within a healthcare setting Developing and delivering audit training programmes Qualitative techniques in data collection and analysis Acute or community healthcare service provision Skills
