Event Coordinator

to join our dynamic team and support the planning and execution of local and international events for our high-performing brand. You will be involved in organizing a variety of exciting events, including fashion weeks, launch parties, pop-up shops/activations, and community events across Oh Polly, Bo&Tee, and Oh Polly Swim. With a creative flair and strong organizational skills, you will assist in bringing fresh concepts to life while ensuring smooth event execution.

Main Responsibilities: Event Planning & Execution:

Support the preparation and on-the-day execution of events, ensuring all elements run smoothly and according to plan. Budget Support:

Assist in managing event budgets, tracking costs, and ensuring the event stays within allocated limits. Creative Support:

Help conceptualize event spaces and assist in ensuring brand placement, visual appeal, and content capture opportunities are maximized. Logistics & Risk Management:

Assist with logistical planning, prepare detailed event schedules, and support with risk assessments to ensure all aspects of the event are considered. Influencer & Media Engagement:

Help coordinate interactions with influencers, celebrities, agents, and media contacts, representing our brand values in all communications. Supplier & Venue Coordination:

Assist in sourcing suppliers, coordinating with venues, and conducting site visits to ensure the event space aligns with the event vision. Post-Event Support:

Handle event admin, support in post-event evaluations, and assist with breakdown and debriefing. Event Setup & Operations:

Support in setting up event spaces, managing supplies, and ensuring all operational aspects of the event are addressed. Relationship Building:

Foster strong relationships with influencers, suppliers, and event partners to ensure ongoing success in future events.

Experience/Skills Required: Target Market Knowledge:

An understanding of our target market and audience to help create relevant and tailored event experiences. Event Planning Experience:

Previous experience in event planning or coordination, with an ability to support logistics and manage tasks effectively. Organizational Skills:

Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently. Technical Proficiency:

Strong skills in using spreadsheets and MS Office tools to assist with event planning, logistics, and budgets. Travel Flexibility:

This role will require travel to different event sites, sometimes at short notice, to work on event setups and execution. A valid passport is required.
