Electrical Design Manager,

you will ensure that all design information is thoroughly reviewed and delivered according to design management procedures. Additionally, you will oversee the creation, control, and distribution of design information throughout the various project stages, while also ensuring regular updates on design progress are provided. Key Responsibilities: Heading and managing the full design process, ensuring designs meet contractual obligations, safety standards, and project requirements at every stage. Supporting our consultant teams to enhance their performance and optimise value by delivering integrated design solutions that align with our clients' needs, strategies, and budgets Work closely with clients, design teams, and subcontractors to deliver high-quality integrated design solutions that optimise project outcomes. Ensure that all design information is produced, controlled, and distributed effectively, and that regular progress reporting is in place to track key milestones. Provide guidance on the buildability of design proposals, ensuring that designs are practical, efficient, and compliant with regulations. Ideal Background: A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline Minimum 5 years of experience managing design from concept to delivery across Transmission & Distribution sectors (previous substation experience is a plus). Proven experience in leading design teams and managing the design process from inception through to handover. Familiarity with 3D design delivery, including BIM, and other relevant digital engineering tools. Experience in managing and optimising relationships with consultants and subcontractors, driving successful design outcomes. Why This Opportunity?
