Our Security Officers are responsible for the safety and well-being of all our members, guests, and employees. Playing a vital role in maintaining a secure environment while delivering exceptional customer service, reflecting the high standards of Taymouth Castle Golf & Sport Club. Our Security Officers must take a “concierge security” approach while working with our distinguished membership. Be vigilant and prepared to act accordingly and within the policy guidelines set out by the department. Greeting guests and visitors warmly and professionally, providing seamless entry for all authorised individuals into property and preventing unauthorized access to the facilities. Providing safe residential and working environments for all our members, guests, and employees; identifying, treating, and reducing workplace risks. Maintaining composure in stressful situations, providing clear communication and direction. Acting as a first responder in emergency situations, including medical incidents, fire alarms and evacuations. Implementing emergency procedures and coordinating with medical services and fire departments as needed. Reporting and maintaining detailed and accurate documentation of all incidents and escalating instances of threats within the workplace. Conducting security checks both foot and mobile patrols and working various shift patterns during the day and at night and at weekends. Receiving, evaluating, and disseminating incoming information and reports from company security personnel, security officers in the field, and company employees, suppliers, reporting parties, and local agencies via Radio, Phone and Email. Proven experience with the equivalent of three years full-time in a Security function, Law Enforcement, or the Military. Prior experience and training together with FREC 3 preferred. An SIA license and a valid clean UK driving License will be required. Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of products. Coordinating and managing multiple tasks with limited supervision while providing excellent customer service. You should be able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organisation. A natural ability to work in a fast-paced business in such a way that reflects a luxury club environment. Building rapport and strong relationships with teams and people. Be calm, patient and composed with the skill of juggling priorities intelligently. Commitment to working in a flexible scheduling environment (rotating shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays).
