Lead and manage a team of QC technicians, providing mentorship, training, and support to ensure effective execution of quality control activities. Develop and maintain quality control procedures, standards, and specifications to meet customer and regulatory requirements. Perform regular inspections and audits to assess product quality, identifying any defects, non-conformities, or areas for improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and supply chain, to address quality issues and implement corrective actions. Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures to minimize quality incidents and improve overall product quality. Supervise and analyze quality metrics and trends, providing regular reports to management and recommending process improvements. Stay updated with industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to quality control, and ensure compliance within the organization. Lead and participate in internal and external quality audits, coordinating corrective actions and ensuring timely resolution of any non-conformities. Develop a culture of quality and continuous improvement, promoting awareness and accountability across the organization. Train employees on quality control procedures, ensuring adherence to established standards and driving a culture of quality excellence. Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Microbiology, Chemistry, Quality Management) or equivalent work experience. Proven experience as a people manager or similar role, preferably in a laboratory environment. Solid understanding of quality control principles, methodologies, and tools. Familiarity with relevant quality standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 9001, GMP, GLP, FDA regulations). Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop employees. Analytical approach with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present quality-related information. Thorough and highly organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks and deliver. Proficiency in using quality control software and tools.
