Please note this is not a Bath & North East Somerset Council Vacancy. We are looking for an experienced, local, enthusiastic part-time Personal Care Assistant to support a humorous, intelligent blind man with advanced MS, who loves to chat and still has a verve for life. Working in Radstock (BA3), the shifts are detailed below and usually extra shifts are available to cover holiday, sickness, etc: Week One: 22 hrs - Sat 1pm to 9pm & Sun 7am to 9pm Week Two: 16 hrs - Thurs 1pm to 9pm & Fri 1pm to 9pm Probation period of 3 months at £14 per hr on weekdays, £16 per hr on weekends & Bank Holidays, which will increase after successful probation period to £16 per hr on weekdays and £18 on weekends and Bank Holidays. Driving licence preferred but not essential. The post is subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure, which will be funded by us. We are unable to sponsor candidates for this role; therefore, you must be able to obtain and provide your own right to work in the UK. Should you be shortlisted, you will be asked to bring your right to work documents with you to your interview so they can be copied and verified at that stage.
