We are currently working in partnership with a number of specialist schools in Sheffield to appoint committed and excellent Behaviour Support Workers. Are you a Behaviour Support Worker that enjoys the flexibility of supply? We are currently supporting a number of SEN and SEMH Provisions specialists in Sheffield to appoint Behaviour Support Workers to support their schools and staff. We are looking for individuals that have previous experience of working with challenging behaviour. We are also interested in hearing from those who have a strong care and sports background and are seeking to transition their skills into an education setting. Graduates are also encouraged and welcome to apply, as supply is a great way to build up your experience. As a Behaviour Support Worker, you will be required to work with individual pupils, groups of children, and the whole class. You will support pupils with a range of abilities and assist the Class Teacher. Our schools can offer part-time, full-time, short-term, and long-term roles. Requirements Ability to work with pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis Very good written, listening, and oral communication skills; high-level organisational skills Experience of working with Secondary age pupils 2x references A valid DBS or willingness to obtain Team teach is also desirable If you are interested in the Behaviour Support Worker roles in Sheffield, please ‘Apply Now’ or call the Sheffield SEN Team on 0114 399 1120.
