As the Strategic Business Development Lead, you will be at the forefront of our efforts to enhance market penetration and sales growth across Europe. You will develop and execute comprehensive business strategies, conduct high-level market analyses, and oversee the performance of regional business development. Your leadership will be crucial in cultivating long-term relationships with strategic partners and customers, ensuring that AZOTE products continue to thrive in the competitive market. Key Accountabilities

Strategic Development & Execution: Lead the development and execution of business strategies to enhance market penetration and sales growth across Europe. Conduct market analysis and competitor strategies to identify opportunities and risks, proposing strategic actions to capitalize on trends. Oversee key account management, ensuring long-term relationships with strategic partners and customers. Sales and Marketing Oversight: Monitor and report on sales performance across regions, implementing adjustments to meet or exceed business targets. Collaborate with the Marketing department to develop and implement targeted marketing strategies for different regions. Strengthen and maximize revenue opportunities with existing and new clients through effective account management. Operational and Team Leadership: Provide executive leadership in negotiating and closing deals, including strategic partnerships and high-value contracts. Utilize comprehensive market intelligence to inform strategic decisions, including detailed analyses of market trends and competitor activities. Develop tailored customer solutions and innovative product applications to meet diverse market needs. Communications and Representation: Represent the company at major industry events, conferences, and exhibitions as a key spokesperson for the brand. Ensure consistent and high-level external communication of the company’s market strategies and achievements. Foster a collaborative environment within the company and across the industry to facilitate knowledge exchange and business growth. Performance and Improvement: Monitor and optimize the effectiveness of business development activities, ensuring robust measurement and reporting systems are in place. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiencies. Qualifications and Skills

Qualifications:

Minimum Degree level technically educated or equivalent experience. Knowledge: Knowledge of application engineering and technical knowledge. Sound understanding of B2B Sales Channel. Product segmentation/positioning. Experience: Proven experience in a relevant sales field. Commercial experience with some time spent in other functions within an organization. Experience working in a sales/marketing team in a matrix-type organization. Experience in sales to and travel within a defined territory/region. Skills: English fluency; European foreign languages preferred. Self-motivated and a self-starter with the ability to integrate and work successfully with colleagues at all levels. Planning and leadership skills. Highly organized and customer-focused with the ability to deliver to challenging targets. Good interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with and influence senior personnel, customers, and distributors. The ability to prioritize workload, set and meet deadlines while working in a matrix organization. Flexibility as frequent travel is required. Why Join Us?
