Our client offers a wide selection of planning services and advice on a mixture of projects within the residential, strategic land, energy, and environmental projects across England and Wales.
With 2 offices based throughout the UK, our client has developed a healthy pipeline and a strong clientele. Their steady workload not only stems from repeat business of private clients but also from a sister company. As a Principal Town Planner, you will be a vital part of the wider team, working independently on projects from beginning through to conclusion. You will be liaising directly with clients, building new client relationships, and managing existing relationships through client meetings and site visits. Working on a wide range of planning applications and planning appeals with an emphasis on large-scale residential and renewable energy projects Communicating effectively with both other professionals and clients Delivering projects within set timeframes Completing planning applications, advice, and appraisals Offering in-depth planning advice and consultation Principal Town Planner Position Requirements
5-8 years+ of relevant experience RTPI Registered or working towards Chartership A proven track record managing caseloads for different types of planning applications, ideally with an emphasis on the residential and/or renewable energy sectors Ability to liaise and uphold client relationships The ability to prepare and present high-quality planning reports Extensive experience working in either the private or public sectors Bennett & Game Recruitment are acting as a Recruitment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
