Passenger Transport Service is seeking to recruit 1 x Transport Supervisor for the core PTS service. This service is part of the overall Travel Assistance Service (which works with a wide range of stakeholders to deliver the Council’s policy on travel assistance). The post of Transport Supervisor supports the provision of passenger transport for both children and adults using the Council’s fleet of minibuses. The service transports over 700 vulnerable passengers each day around the district.
Main Purposes of the Post:
Support the PTS Operations Management team in providing a safe and cost-efficient transport service for both home-to-school and day care services. Supervise and manage approximately 140 staff, including Drivers and Passenger Escorts. Ensure that the team delivers a cost-efficient, high-quality, and safe service that meets the needs of our clients.
