This role directs and manages all plant operations with overall responsibilities for production, maintenance, quality, and other production-related activities. Ensures the efficient running of the plant and on-time delivery of the products; prepares, analyses and identifies improvements for the KPIs and monitors compliance with systems regarding Quality, H&S, and Environmental standards.
Production Management:
Oversees all plant operations, including personnel, logistics, production, maintenance and other commercial activities. Ensures compliance with production volumes, based on Production Plans provided by Clients. Sets and monitors site's KPIs and acts in case of deviations. Monitors site's performance on quality and service. Ensures the compliance with the requirements of the Quality, Food Defense, Environment, Health and Safety at Work Management Systems implemented, aiming at product conformity, product safety for the final consumer, correct waste management and protection of Employees and assets. Develops and controls profits, plans, budgets as well as build and present cases to secure CAPEX. Ensures adequate preventive and corrective maintenance of all equipment and facilities. Team Management:
Performs the PMS for all direct reports. Assesses training needs of the team. Develops and encourages the team to perform at the highest standards. Customer Relations:
Participates in frequent meetings with the customer. Liaises with the customer on day-to-day requirements. Ensures that last minute requests/plans are implemented. Provides quotations and information when required. Oversees all trial requests and costings, cost reduction projects. Investigates the causes of customers' complaints, defining and implementing the necessary containment measures, corrections and/or corrective actions.
