An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Respiratory Support Unit. The unit consists of 47 beds with a 6 bedded RSU unit which cares for level 2 patients with a focus on acutely unwell respiratory patients who require non-invasive ventilation and high flow oxygen therapies. The successful candidate will be instrumental in supporting the Unit Manager with the continuous improvement of the department, effectively monitoring and maintaining excellent standards of care that are reflected by patient experience. Experience in Respiratory Medicine is essential for this role to support staff with unwell patients and to lead by example to identify and act accordingly to the deteriorating patient. You must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, have a proactive management style, and be flexible in your approach to the role, responding appropriately to the demands of an ever-changing workload.
