Survey Engineer

and play a crucial role in delivering quality survey data for global projects. About the Role: As a Survey Engineer, you'll be part of a skilled team on board our vessels, working under the guidance of the Party Chief. You will oversee the setup, integration, operation, and maintenance of survey sensors during mobilisations and demobilisations. Your focus will be on ensuring seamless operations and delivering high-quality data acquisition, all while adhering to company and client QHSE procedures. Key Responsibilities: Participate actively in toolbox talks and risk assessments. Install, interface, test, calibrate, verify, and operate hydrographic, geophysical, and geotechnical survey equipment per project standards. Record and report vessel/ROV and sensor offsets accurately. Maintain an up-to-date equipment register and oversee equipment receipt and dispatch. Work collaboratively with the survey team to deploy and recover sensors and ensure data meets project requirements. Provide ongoing fault-finding, maintenance, and technical support for survey equipment. Document and report faulty/damaged equipment, liaising with shoreside teams and third-party suppliers as needed. Contribute to reviewing and updating vessel procedures and documentation. What We’re Looking For: Proven experience in a similar role. BSc or HND in Electronics, IT, or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience. Proficiency in setting up and operating commonly used survey equipment. Strong fault-finding skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Flexibility to work in various global locations. Valid BOSIET or equivalent and OGUK Medical certification. A qualification in a survey-related subject is advantageous. Why Join Us?
