Workshop Supervisor Contract:

Full, perm Carrier Rental Systems provides detailed site evaluations for critical areas of your facility. A pre-designed response plan allows for "peace-of-mind" so that in case of an emergency, where time is of the essence, all pre-set-up work has been completed and the equipment is mobilized as designed. About the role The role is based in Falkirk and its main aim is to supervise work Engineers and Yard Employees in the depot. As a Workshop Supervisor, you'll be responsible for managing day-to-day priorities, solving client issues received by the team, and providing Health & Safety in the depot. Moreover, you'll be optimizing manpower and resources, responding to complaints from customers, and escalating key issues to senior management. As a Workshop Supervisor, you'll be responsible for: Taking the lead on aspects of H&S – Leading by example Ensuring that all assets are available for hire Ensuring that all assets are aesthetically and mechanically of a very high standard Dealing with customer's problems on site as they arise Assisting with internal problems in the depot Liaising and working closely with Service Manager and operational management Assisting with the free movement of equipment among all depots Maintaining all maintenance records within the depot Assessing and maintaining health and safety needs in the depot; leading by example with continuous improvement Ensuring all paperwork/documentation is up-to-date To be successful in the role you should have: Previous engineering experience in repairing and servicing HVAC temperature control/refrigeration equipment (ideally boilers, chillers, cooling equipment, etc.) Experience of supervising a team is beneficial but not essential Qualification in Building Services, HVAC, Refrigeration (min Level 3) Fgas or gas safe required Experience of prioritizing workflow Understanding of computer applications including MS Office We offer: Pension scheme Life Insurance 25 days of holidays + bank holidays Paid sick leave Our commitment to you Our greatest assets are the expertise, creativity, and passion of our employees.
