A very successful, well-established and highly regarded East Kent chartered accountancy practice based in Canterbury is searching for a Payroll Administrator to help manage the delivery of payroll services to the practice's varied client base, in a key role within the business, offering excellent progression and development potential. Our client is a highly reputable firm of chartered accountants. The clients range in size, industry and sector and you will therefore get exposure to a wide variety of clients. You will work in a well-established team of around 8 experienced payroll staff. Joining as a Payroll Administrator based in the Canterbury office, you will be responsible for the delivery of payroll services (weekly/monthly etc) to a very wide spectrum of clients, deal with queries and advise clients on technical issues, and assist with other projects. You will take on responsibility as you develop within the firm and role, delivering a quality service to the clients and building strong relationships. You will undertake processing and look to act as the initial point of contact for other clients as well. You will carve a pivotal role within this practice's payroll department and progress in your career, with increasing responsibility. There is also the opportunity to study towards the CIPP qualification, should you wish! Requirements

This position will sit within a very experienced and large payroll team so you will be surrounded by fantastic support. Experience with practice/ bureau payroll software. You will be a technically proficient Payroll Administrator who has a minimum of 2 years or more experience in Payroll. You must have accountancy practice experience or payroll bureau experience. Benefits
