Art and Design Technology Technician Location: Enfield, North London Position Type: Full-Time Start Date: September 2024 Prospero Teaching is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Art and Design Technology Technician to come and work under our agency. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong background in design and technology to help and support students in a dynamic learning environment. AS A ART AND DESIGN TECHNOLOGY TECHNICIAN, YOU WILL: Ensure all necessary tools, equipment, and materials are ready for use in classes, workshops, or projects. Regularly maintaining and repairing equipment to ensure it is safe and functional. Keeping track of inventory and ordering new supplies when needed. Providing technical support and assistance to teachers and students during lessons and projects. Demonstrating the proper use of tools and equipment, and safe working practices. THE RIGHT ART AND DESIGN TECHNOLOGY TECHNICIAN WILL: Hold a qualification relating to Design Technology Be creative, patient, and willing to think outside of the box Have hands-on experience with various art and design materials, tools, and equipment. THE SUCCESSFUL ART AND DESIGN TECHNOLOGY TECHNICIAN WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING: Exceptional degree relating to Design and Technology such as theatre design, product design, graphics, silversmithing, or architecture.
