A locally based and highly regarded regional main contractor operating in Norfolk is seeking to recruit a talented Assistant Project Manager to work on a recent project win in Norwich. The business works across multiple sectors including Education, Healthcare, Residential, Industrial, and Mixed-Use sectors on a regional basis and is looking to grow their Construction Delivery team due to recent project wins. The successful candidate will report to a Contracts Manager working across multiple projects, each with its own individual Site Manager. The business is recognized for its employee focus and long-term stable history, with many senior management and employees having worked for the business for many years. Duties & Responsibilities:

The successful Assistant Project Manager will be site-based, supporting the Contracts Manager in the delivery of the project. In conjunction with the Site Managers, the role will involve responsibility for health & safety, short-term programming/progress monitoring, and delivering a quality build with low defects. Excellent communication skills are essential, as the Assistant Project Manager will be expected to liaise with clients and long-term suppliers, as well as be a supportive team member to colleagues. Desirable Experience: Previously held a Site Manager, Assistant Project Manager, Assistant Contracts Manager, or Site Agent role with a Main Contractor. Exceptional track record for delivering sites on time and to a high standard of finish. 3 years+ experience postgraduate as a minimum or experience while completing their degree part-time. Previous Roles: Assistant Project Manager, Assistant Site Manager, Construction Manager, Site Manager, Assistant Contracts Manager, or Site Agent. Qualifications & Skills:

Degree in Construction Management, NVQ Level 6 or above. Application Process:
