HSE Improvement Specialist This role requires a Full UK driving licence with regular travel to branches in and around the South West. Responsibilities:
Provide agreed HSE improvement activity support to the Head of HSE to deliver the business’ HSE Annual Operating Plan. Identify and design continual improvement programmes with the Head of HSE, ensuring stakeholder buy-in. Drive improvement programmes based on business unit needs, inherent risk profiles, and incident experiences. Take an active role in colleague focused HSE forums and support HSE-related projects. Support the Distribution Centre management team in driving continual improvement of HSE culture and performance. Implement agreed HSE improvement programmes and provide oversight on measures of success. Support BU leaders in high-risk branches, demonstrating visible support and helping develop action plans for Safety Excellence. Review HSE data streams to provide insights for risk reduction and safety improvement. Assist in resolving complex HSE problems as escalated by the lead HSE Advisor. Support business leaders in achieving standards for Incident Review Boards. What’s in it for you?
