Your new role As an IT Compliance Specialist, you will: Develop and implement IT compliance policies and procedures. Conduct regular internal audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies (ISO27001, Cyber Essentials+). Identify and assess compliance risks within the IT environment. Prepare detailed reports on audit findings and make recommendations for improvement. Provide training and guidance to employees on compliance-related matters. Investigate and resolve compliance issues and incidents. Maintain documentation of compliance activities, including audit results and corrective actions. Collaborate with other departments to ensure overall compliance with IT policies and regulations. Assist the business with its submissions for tender and insurance responses. Stay updated on the latest compliance trends and best practices. Ensure third-party vendors comply with the organisation's IT policies. Work closely with the Security Team to ensure data protection and security measures are in place. What you'll need to succeed A strong understanding of IT systems and infrastructure. Awareness of IT Service Management (ITSM) and ITIL Framework. Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations (e.g., GDPR, ISO27001, Cyber Essentials+). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and high ethical standards. Experience with compliance management tools and software.
