Manage the day-to-day running of the service This includes managing staff, allocating resources, and monitoring performance Develop a long-term strategy This includes working towards the service's vision and ensuring compliance with regulations Ensure the safety of service users This includes responding to emergencies, such as fire drills and evacuations Create a positive workplace culture This includes providing leadership and guidance to staff, and building effective working relationships Meet the needs of service users This includes providing information and advice, and helping residents access local services Be the key contact for the service This includes being the point of contact for the CQC when they need to organize an inspection Qualifications and Skills
Excellent leadership skills Good observational skills Experience of assessing care and support needs Knowledge of relevant legislation and local services Understanding of medical conditions affecting service users The ideal candidate for this position will succeed in this role if they have both knowledge and technical depth about the company and the industry. This is essential as they will be a central person in the decision-making process, working with multiple individuals across different teams when necessary.
