Brief description of duties: Outpatient Clinics – 3 PA’s + 3 PA’s admin + 1.5 SPA : The post-holder will provide support for the Lipid / CV risk and diabetes services. Clinical Biochemistry Diagnostic and Clinical Liaison Service – 2 PA’s + 0.5 PA Lab governance meeting : The post holder will work alongside a team of Consultant Chemical Pathologists, Consultant and Principal Clinical Scientists and Specialist Trainees, participating in the provision of clinical and diagnostic work within the department of Clinical Biochemistry. Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement activity and teaching. Minimum Requirements: Candidates will have specialist accreditation in Chemical Pathology (ideally including MRCP) and experience in the management of hyperlipidaemia and diabetes. Local accommodation can be arranged. The hospital is city-based with all local amenities nearby and an international airport less than 30 minutes drive.
