As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in working with a diverse range of clients, providing comprehensive accounting services and financial guidance.
Responsibilities: Manage a portfolio of clients, delivering high-quality accounting and tax services. Prepare and review annual accounts, tax computations, and VAT returns. Provide financial advice and ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations. Mentor and lead junior team members, offering training and support as necessary. Assist with special projects and ad-hoc assignments, showcasing flexibility and adaptability. Cultivate strong client relationships, identifying avenues for business growth and development. Requirements: ACCA or ACA qualified Will need ideally at least 3+ years within a UK accountancy firm. Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting. Hold strong experience with Excel, Xero, Sage, Accounting and Taxation software Friendly disposition and a team player Effective communicator, comfortable communicating with clients and peers at all levels
