Job Overview: Responsible for all aspects of the RTT X-Ray tube manufacturing process, including the refurbishment of tubes returned through the RMA and Engineering return procedures. The Tube Assembly Manager (TAM) will be accountable for all agreed KPI and cost reduction targets. The primary focus of the TAM will be to ensure a consistent flow of Tubes to the BAT area to create a smooth flow to final assembly allowing the target output to be maintained. High standards of process control and area discipline are to be always maintained. Continuous improvement and 5S ethos are to be promoted and encouraged with a focus on team development and engagement. Experience & Attributes: Extensive clean-room experience. Previous managerial leadership experience. Knowledge of high vacuum processes (advantageous). Familiarity with tube or similar production processes. Experience with complex high-tolerance component assembly processes and/or laboratory environments. Ability to integrate well into an established team, supporting and assisting colleagues. Proven ability to lead, motivate, and supervise a team to achieve targets. Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills. Experience leading and motivating diverse teams. Ability to understand and interpret complex engineering drawings and process & instrumentation diagrams. Knowledge of electrical and mechanical equipment used in pumping or vacuum applications. Knowledge, Training, Qualifications: Level 5 qualifications or equivalent in an engineering or technical discipline. Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience leading a team of 10 or more. Competence in Microsoft Office applications. Lean/Continuous improvement/Six Sigma experience and qualifications. Proven ability to deliver time and cost savings through process improvements. Knowledge and use of data-driven statistics to drive improvements within the area. Why Join Us? Excellent Salary:
