Adecco is recruiting a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our local client on a permanent basis in North Ayrshire, who is a leading manufacturer of products worldwide.
You will have many responsibilities, including:
Maintain and repair all production and process manufacturing equipment
Undertake tasks in line with maintenance requisition requests
Conduct PPM (planned preventative maintenance) tasks as required
Prioritise workload in liaison with Engineering Manager to provide the most effective maintenance service possible, thus maximising production output
Ensure area of responsibility housekeeping is of a high standard
Complete engineering projects as assigned by management
Actively engage with suppliers to improve service levels and reduce costs
Ensure that all Quality Systems are followed
Experience of working within a COMAH site is a distinct advantage
To be considered, you must have the following:
Experience in a manufacturing/engineering environment
Self-motivated individual with the ability to lead by example
Good team player but can work on own when required
Good timekeeper, flexible & willing to work outside normal hours if required
Knowledge of pneumatic circuits and demonstrable fault-finding skills
Flexible and adaptable approach to work to meet business requirements
Excellent communication and customer service skills
