About The Role The Graduate Tendering Engineer will support the MEICA tender team in the production of tender submissions and development of project pricing. The role will include assisting the senior team members in supply chain engagement and issuing/reviewing quotes. You will be supported in your new role by the Bid Manager and MEICA tendering engineers and will be given the opportunity to develop the skills necessary to build a successful career within the tendering team. Responsibilities will include: Review of tender documentation to understand the scope of works Accountable for the ‘Request for Quotation’ process under the supervision of team members Taking off quantities, developing scopes of work for sub-contract packages and obtaining quotations Record keeping and management of supplier quotes in line with the tendering procedure Supporting the proposal team and wider tendering team in the compilation of the tender technical deliverables About You Requirements: 3 rd

Level Qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Quantity Surveying or Construction Management Graduate level role. 1-2 years’ experience working in either an estimating or project delivery role would be beneficial but is not essential Ability to work as part of a team of professionals, taking direction and coordinating with senior staff Good technical writing skills and attention to detail Positive attitude to workload and learning Be a team player, willing to work with a variety of subject matter specialists to create excellent tenders Have excellent communication skills and develop good relationships in the wider tendering team and company Ability to work to deadlines and manage priorities Good computer skills including familiarity with Microsoft Office Full clean Irish/UK/EU Driving Licence Authorised to work in Ireland i.e. Currently hold a valid Work Permit or a Stamp 4 visa About Us Coffey is a family-owned water infrastructure and civil engineering specialist established in 1974.
