Office-Based Geotechnical Engineer

to act as the vital link between our office and offshore operations. In this role, you’ll support offshore teams with their daily activities, ensuring maximum productivity, exceptional quality, and smooth client communications. Work on exciting, impactful projects. Work in a comfortable office, just 15 minutes’ walk from Norwich City Centre. Your Responsibilities You’ll play a pivotal role in: Reviewing geotechnical data from vessels to support daily operations. Writing and auditing operational and final project reports. Assisting with pre-project planning, such as creating Project Execution Plans. Reviewing client comments and providing responses. Analyzing and interpreting Seismic CPT and engineering data. Coordinating with internal and external laboratories for updates. Reviewing laboratory results and data. Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless project integration across disciplines. About You You’ll bring: A solid understanding of geotechnical principles. Auditing and marine experience (advantageous but not essential). Intermediate MS Excel skills and strong MS Word proficiency. Excellent English language skills, with great attention to detail. The ability to support others, liaise between teams, and meet deadlines. Flexibility to travel occasionally.
