Bid Manager

Opportunity for a Bid Manager to work for a multi-million turnover top Fit Out Contractor based in London. This is an exciting role for someone who can work well in a fast-paced, busy environment, from a construction/fit out/technical background.

About the role of Bid Manager As Bid Manager, you will be working with a team of Planners, Contract Managers, creative designers, and Project Managers on tenders which will need to be turned around within a tight deadline. These tenders will range from £5M-£30M typically and all within the Cat A and Cat B commercial fit-out sector.

The role will involve presenting to large groups of people, being able to challenge Senior internal teams in a productive manner with creative ideas. The company wants someone who is confident in giving their opinion/input and making good decisions as you will be the lead for the bids which have a high success rate in work winning. The win rate is currently 1 in 2.5. The business is looking to exceed this year's £250m turnover, with a target of £300m for next year, so it is very important for the successful candidate to be motivated and have a heads-down attitude to fit alongside the existing, growing team.

You will schedule the whole bid, drive strategy, undertake workshops with the subcontractors, put the "message" of the bid together, and prep the team for client interviews.

This role would suit someone who likes being at the forefront of work winning and presenting to clients, with direct involvement with the Bid Director and MD.
