** Test Manager - ServiceNow/SAP**A leading Independent IT Infrastructure and Services Consultancy is looking for a Test Manager with experience of projects in ServiceNow and SAP for a 3-month contract initially, based in Hatfield (Hybrid), 3-month contract initially, Outside IR3, up to £600 per day

Experienced test manager with experience of projects in ServiceNow for a number of projects.

Any experience of SAP BTP, SAP PI, or SAP ERP systems, or with SmartHub would be an advantage. The Test Manager will work with stakeholders across the organisation, primarily in the UK but also globally.

Skills and experience

Experienced in projects delivering ServiceNow capabilities. Ability to perform hands-on testing of systems, if required, including ServiceNow. Experience with test management tools such as SpiraTeam, Microfocus Quality Centre ALM (HP QC ALM) or similar tools. Skilled in Test Planning and Test Execution Management. Strong stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills. Able to lead a diverse team of testers to deliver high quality results. An analytical thinker and problem-solver, with good attention to detail. Familiarity with ISO 29119 and experience of working with it.

Key responsibilities

Creation of detailed test plans, based on existing templates, to ensure the quality of all aspects of deliverables are understood. Ensure requirements are refined to levels that can be adequately tested. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop comprehensive test plans covering all in-scope processes and scenarios. Oversee all required stages of testing (as defined by the test plan).

Ensure proper execution of test scripts and documentation of test results. Reporting on test readiness, test execution, defect statuses, test completion and defect root-cause analysis. Manage defects, reporting, tracking, and managing resolution in coordination with development and other teams. Work closely with project managers, functional consultants, and technical teams to understand business processes and system requirements. Provide regular updates on testing progress and risk mitigation strategies to project stakeholders. Lead and mentor the testing team, ensuring best practices are followed and objectives are met. Coordinate with offshore and onshore teams to ensure seamless collaboration. Ensure adherence to organisational standards, compliance requirements, and other required quality benchmarks. Monitor and evaluate the performance of testing processes to recommend improvements.

Preferred Qualifications ISTQB Qualification. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Scrum (preferably CSM or equivalent), waterfall and other delivery methodologies.
