Here at Anson McCade we are working with a global consulting client of ours on the search for a skilled Support Engineer to join their existing Belfast operation. This role is crucial for ensuring the reliability and performance of our clients' systems. If you are enthusiastic about technology and excel in a hybrid working environment, this opportunity could be ideal for you. Monitor and maintain client system performance using monitoring tools. Provide expert support and troubleshooting for applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless digital transformation solutions. Develop and implement monitoring strategies. Utilize fundamental tools and languages. Work with external and embedded databases, both relational and NoSQL, such as MongoDB, MySQL, Flink, Cassandra, SQL Server, and Postgres. Develop schemas to support business logic and data. Manage and support both production and non-production instances of services. Proven experience with monitoring tools, specifically Grafana and Kibana. Strong proficiency in Java 8. Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and internal teams. Competitive salary ranging from £40,000 to £55,000.
