Lead Software Engineer

£80,000 - £90,000 & hybrid working!

My client is embarking on developing the next-generation of Fixed Wireless Access products based on 5G air interface standard in the mmWave frequency bands. They are looking for a Lead Software Engineer to be responsible for the creation of a Network Management System application that supports configuration, monitoring and management of the network elements, to allow for fine-grained control over the operation and management of the network. You will be spearheading the development of the NMS application and planning tool whilst managing a team of software engineers.

They are looking for someone who's looking to take their career to the next level, collaborating across the business to collectively achieve company goals. Someone who is keen on working in a fast-paced, start-up-like environment and to take ownership of a vital application.

What's required for this Lead Software Engineer position? Track record of senior technical leadership within a customer facing online platform environment Proficiency in C++, C# or Java (OOP) Experience with build tools and environments Experience in leading the development of MVPs and bringing products from concept to market Strong communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills Knowledge of 5G/LTE/WAN or previous experience developing an NMS is advantageous If you are a Lead Software Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity within a growing organisation, please apply to learn more!
